Melbourne University Water Polo tries to be as much about socialising as it is about water polo. As such, throughout the year barbeques and visits to the pub after training and games occur regularly – to relax and socialise with team mates in different settings.

Currently, MUPolo’s administration is negotiating with local pubs and clubs in order to attain sponsorship, including cheap drinks. This sponsorship will help make these nights both enjoyable and economical.

Completing the social schedule are events including the Wilson/West award for the best Australian University Games performer (both in and out of the pool) and the MUPolo Black Tie Water Polo ball. These events help to make MUPolo an active and social environment for not only our own club members, but water polo players in general.
