The Melbourne University Water Polo Club in 2014

MUPolo celebrates its 51st of operation in 2014, and the club is proud to have had a long and illustrious list of members; including a number of Australian representatives in both the Men’s and Women’s National and Olympic teams. MUPolo aims to provide services to members on a number of levels with multiple teams in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions of the Water Polo Victoria competitions (2014 WPV Summer Social Competition, 2014 WPV Winter Competition & 2014 WPV State Championships). In addition to entering teams in the Water Polo Victoria run competitions, the Melbourne University Water Polo Club also competes in the Brighton Baths Fast Fives Water Polo Tournament (Saturday 8th of February 2014), the Southern University Championships and the Australian University Games.

MUPolo’s numerous teams and coaches, enables the club to cater for any level of skill and experience, from the first timer up to the Australian representative. And while water polo is the core of MUPolo, another almost equally important side of the club is its social arm. MUPolo provides a social outlet for students, alumni and members of the general public, with numerous barbecues, pub crawls and other social outings (such as the MUPolo Beer Pong Tournament, MUPolo Annual Boat Cruise and the MUPolo Lawns Bowls Tournament, etc.) each year.
